"Welcome Home: a Post-Battle Reenactment" a participatory installation, Governors Island, NY - Figment 09. The installation mirrors some of the services at the US Vet Centers, and participants sign up for a one-to-one conversation with one of my three "reenactments" - as a Vet Center director, an outreach counsellor for homeless veterans, or myself as the instigator of the Vets & Pets program (introducing pet companionship to veterans and assisting with pet adoptions.)
