Anna Lise Jensen Welcome Home
link to Vet Center services
Welcome Home (2008-ongoing) is inspired by being an Artist in Residence at the Brooklyn Veterans Center, NY, and the title refers to the sign that greets people entering the place.

Anna Lise Jensen Welcome Home "Welcome Home: a Post-Battle Reenactment" a participatory installation, Governors Island, NY - Figment 09. The installation mirrors some of the services at the US Vet Centers, and participants sign up for a one-to-one conversation with one of my three "reenactments" - as a Vet Center director, an outreach counsellor for homeless veterans, or myself as the instigator of the Vets & Pets program (introducing pet companionship to veterans and assisting with pet adoptions.)
